Mustard Sauce




In Norway, Mustard Sauce is often served along with
Marinated Salmon/Norwegian Gravlaks, but is also great with chicken as well.

Here I will share with you a recipe that my family has been enjoying for years.


Sauce Recipe:
(Add Ingredients in order listed.
Double recipe as needed.)
5 tablespoons fresh cut dill
2 tablespoons coarse robust mustard
1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Ground sea salt and freshly
ground pepper to taste.

Mix all ingredients, except oil,
Drizzle oil gradually while stirring.
Place in a small serving bowl.

This Norwegian traditional condiment will bring out the flavor of seafoods such as stone crab claws, crab cakes. Enjoy!
